During the past few years, companies have focused on supply chain improvements with initiatives centered on operational excellence and cost cutting. But have they worked?
While many companies have implemented technology solutions (e.g. advanced planning and scheduling systems), not all have seen the required benefits. In some cases, targets have been missed and momentum lost. Rather than investing in more technology, there is now the pressing need for quick wins to deliver the expected levels of profitability, performance, and working capital efficiency.
